Our family lost our daughter Sloane to complications associated with congenital heart disease in October 2017. Sloane’s twin brother Lincoln loves to ride his bike. In fact, our whole family loves cycling. In the spirit of action and activism, we are committed to keeping her memory alive by inviting you to join us in this cycling event. This year we're able to offer an in-person ride at Heckscher State Park on Saturday, September 25, 2021. If you can't make it in person you can join us through a virtual option and dedicate a bike ride to Sloane. You can choose your own location, start time, and distance! We know that this event will raise awareness and will help to fund research that gives other babies a chance at survival.
This ride supports the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation! If you don’t have a bike, you can choose your own way to participate and join us to raise money for the most promising congenital heart disease (CHD) research. You can walk, run, hike, swim or get around in another way wherever you are! Register as an individual, form a team, or make a donation! Please feel free to take and share photos by emailing them to us at email@example.com and to post on social media using #sloanesride, #chf, and #chfny.
