About New York Friendship Circle
Based in Dix Hills, NY, The NY Friendship Circle is a 501(c) (3) charity started as a way to bring teens and individuals with special needs together to form meaningful and lasting friendships. Teen volunteers have helped make the NY Friendship Circle not only a safe place for children, teens and young adults of all abilities to be themselves, be accepted and be valued for who they are on the inside, but also a place where everyone can learn new things. The community offers friendship, true support and mentorship to those who need it when participating in various classes and activities, promoting an atmosphere of true integration.
